Pope Francis’ newest book will make its way to shelves and online sellers in January 2016.

Called The Name of God Is Mercy: A Conversation with Andrea Tornielli, the book will focus on compassion, “a subject of central importance in [the pope’s] teaching and testimony,” according to a release from Random House, the book’s North American publisher. The UK and Commonwealth rights have been bought by Pan Macmillan.

The book will be formatted as an interview with Andrea Tornielli, a reporter for Italian newspaper La Stampa.

Though the pope has written books before on predictably papal topics like humility, education, and corruption, The Name of God is Mercy is the first to be published during his papacy. As the LA Times reports, its release coincides with the pope’s Holy Year of Mercy, an extraordinary jubilee that breaks the usual 25-year schedule for holy years.
