As fierce competition for workers with tech-related skills has become the norm, so has high pay.

On the jobs website Glassdoor, workers anonymously submit their salaries. Over the last year, the 25 companies from which employees submitted the highest salaries included four consulting companies and one financial services company. The remaining 20 companies were all part of the technology industry. The tech-heavy 2017 list of highest paying US companies looks almost exactly the same as last year’s.

Even at companies with large low-wage workforces, the typical technology-focused employee makes more than the typical worker at almost any other company. According to Glassdoor, the typical Amazon warehouse worker makes $13 per hour. A typical worker at its “Lab126″–number 10 on the highest paying list–who submitted salary data over the last year makes a salary of $152,800. Similarly, typical Walmart sales managers, according to Glassdoor, make around $9.41 per hour while the Walmart e-commerce employees who submitted salaries over the past year had a median salary of $143,500.
