Alicia Prager is an Austrian freelance journalist, currently covering EU economic and digital affairs for EURACTIV Berlin. Previously, she worked for the international politics desk of the Austria Press Agency and has written for outlets such as Al Jazeera, New Internationalist, Der Standard, Profil and DATUM. Alicia studied journalism and politics in Aarhus, Sydney, and Amsterdam and wrote her thesis in Colombia, focusing on the 2016 peace treaty with the FARC.
