Bobbi Dempsey is a freelance writer whose credits include The New York Times, Family Circle, Chicago Tribune, Playboy and many others. She frequently writes about poverty, income inequality, and issues affecting the working class, often drawing upon her own experiences of growing up in a poor, dysfunctional environment. She is currently working on a memoir.
