Marina Gorbis (@mgorbis) is a futurist and social scientist who serves as the executive director of the Institute for the Future (IFTF), a 49-year-old nonprofit research organization dedicated to systematically thinking about the future to help organizations and communities make better decisions. She is the author of "The Nature of the Future: Dispatches from the Socialstructed World."
