Dunkin' launched a summer menu on Tuesday featuring eight new pink beverages, a collaboration with Mattel's Barbie brand, and several new food items.
At the center of the rollout sits the Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam, a seasonal addition that coats drinks in a creamy, strawberry-flavored layer of bubblegum pink. The cold foam comes standard on seven of the eight new drinks, which include the Ultimate Pink Daydream Refresher, Double Strawberry Daydream Refresher, Pink Mango Daydream Refresher, Pink Cherry Daydream Refresher, Strawberry Cloud Matcha, Strawberries & Creme Cloud Dunkalatte, and Almond Strawberry Shortcake Iced Coffee.
Rounding out the eight new beverages is the Pink Pineapple Refresher, which skips the cold foam and leans on pineapple, raspberry, and hibiscus for its flavor profile. Six base options — green tea, black tea, lemonade, oatmilk, protein milk, and sparkling water — are offered, and sweetness can be adjusted to taste.
New to the food menu is the Rocket Pop Classic Donut, which combines cherry, lime, and raspberry buttercreme inside a yeast shell and finishes with blue icing and patriotic sprinkles in a stars-and-stripes pattern. Also joining the menu are two savory options: the Golden BBQ Hash Brown Wake-Up Wrap, which bundles bacon, egg, American cheese, and three hash browns with Golden BBQ sauce, and the Golden BBQ Loaded Hash Browns, a nine-piece hash brown bowl finished with Golden BBQ sauce and crumbled bacon.
"Pink has always been part of Dunkin's DNA, and this summer we're taking it further than ever — bold, fun and unmistakably Dunkin'," Dunkin' Chief Marketing Officer Jill Nelson said in a statement.
The Barbie tie-in extends beyond the menu. Starting June 10, a Midtown Manhattan Dunkin' location will be reimagined as a Barbie DreamHouse-inspired destination, with the transformation running through the end of the month, according to the company. A collectible Barbie Pink Pineapple Cup will be available at participating locations on June 12, while supplies last.
Dunkin' is also continuing its $6 Meal Deal, which includes any two Wake-Up Wrap sandwiches and a medium hot or iced coffee. Food & Wine noted that last June's equivalent wrap promotion carried a $5 price tag, making the current offering 20% more expensive.
Through the Dunkin' Rewards program, members will find a slate of June deals inside the app, among them a $1 discount on cold foam drinks available June 11 and extra points tied to Refresher purchases around National Pink Day, June 23 through June 25, the company said.
Dunkin', founded in 1950, operates more than 14,200 restaurants across nearly 40 markets. The chain is part of the Inspire Brands family of restaurants.
