In their quest to make streaming profitable, media companies have turned to tactics such as password-sharing crackdowns, advertising, and subscription price hikes. So far this summer, Max and Peacock have raised prices – and on the music front, so has Spotify. This comes after a wave of streamers increased their prices last fall, including Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+.

Here is how much eight of the major video streamers currently cost, from least to most expensive.

Peacock

A standard plan for Peacock, the streaming service of NBCUniversal, costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 annually. Peacock’s ad-free tier is $11.99 a month or $119.99 a year.

Paramount Global’s streaming platform is also $5.99 for a standard plan. The service’s ad-free plan comes with additional content from Showtime and costs $11.99 a month.

Netflix’s cheapest plan costs $6.99 a month and its ad-free tier is $15.49, while its premium plan that allows users to stream on four devices at the same time is $20.99 a month.

Amazon’s Prime Video service is included with the e-commerce giant’s Prime membership that cost $14.99 a month of $139 a year. If you’re only interested in video streaming, you can subscribe to Prime Video as a standalone service for $8.99. For an extra $2.99, you can also remove ads.

And subscribers of the company’s ultimate ad-free plan, which allows users to stream on four devices at once, pay $20.99 a month or $209.99 a year.
