The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 58 cents per share.
The provider of financial and business services to small-and medium-sized business posted revenue of $75.6 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $57.5 million, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $63 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $43 million, or $1.70 per share. Revenue was reported as $203.7 million.
NewtekOne expects full-year earnings to be $1.80 to $2 per share.
