On a per-share basis, the Latham, New York-based company said it had a loss of 47 cents.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 32 cents per share.
The alternative energy company posted revenue of $198.7 million in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Twelve analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $237.8 million.
