LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Texas Roadhouse Inc. (TXRH) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $72.4 million.

The Louisville, Kentucky-based company said it had profit of $1.08 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.07 per share.

The restaurant chain posted revenue of $1.16 billion in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.17 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $304.9 million, or $4.54 per share. Revenue was reported as $4.63 billion.
