For all of the amazing things that the iPhone can do, it’s still a rather large hassle to move around and organize the apps you’ve downloaded. You have to press down on one, wait for them to start wiggling, and then drag one to the place you want it, and then go back for the next app. Setting up folders can take ages—or so you likely thought!

A trick for app wrangling has been making the rounds on the internet recently, and it can be a real time-saver when organizing your iPhone. It’s pretty simple: Once you’ve held down on an app so they’re all wiggling, drag that app down with your finger to an empty area on the screen, and with another finger tap another app, which will group itself with the first. Repeat as necessary. You can stack and move as many apps together as you want, cutting down the time it takes to set up folders.
