Before NASA scientists even had the chance to stop cheering and process yesterday’s (July 14) groundbreaking, high resolution photos of the dwarf planet Pluto from the New Horizons spacecraft, the internet was aflutter with memes of the new images.
The memes varied in style, ranging from jokes on hyper-current events to Pluto’s relegation to dwarf planet status. Oh, and of course, plays on the name it shares with a certain famous Disney character.
