Abdullah Almaatouq
Abdullah Almaatouq is the Douglas Drane Career Professor in information technology and an assistant professor of information technology at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His research focuses on the mechanisms of decision-making in networked environments where decisions are influenced by interactions with others. Currently, he develops dynamical models of inference, judgment, learning, and decision-making that can adapt to interconnected social and non-stationary information environments, and tests such models using a wide array of methods ranging from behavioral experiments and observational studies to computer simulations and mathematical analyses. He holds a dual MS and a PhD from MIT and a BSc from the University of Southampton.
