Akilimali Saleh Chomachoma is a freelance journalist covering news in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central Africa. He is interested in several themes such as economy, environment, agriculture, culture, politics, social media, fact checking and technological innovations. These articles have been published in the DRC and in other international media such as IPS and Zenger News. Akilimali is one of the 2021 winners of the Webloom voices program aimed at covering women's entrepreneurship in Africa.With a degree in journalism obtained at the University of Goma, he is a Master's student in the same field at the National Pedagogical University of the DRC.
