Anil Ananthaswamy is an award-winning journalist, and a consultant and former deputy news editor, New Scientist magazine. He is a guest editor at the University of California at Santa Cruz’s science writing program. Anil is the author of The Edge of Physics (Houghton Mifflin-Harcourt, 2010), which was named Book of the Year 2010 by UK’s Physics World and The Man Who Wasn't There (Dutton, Penguin Random House USA, 2015), which was nominated for the PEN/E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award.
