Alex Ossola is the membership editor at Quartz. She was previously the special projects editor. Before joining Quartz, Alex was the managing editor at Futurism and freelanced for publications including Popular Science, Newsweek, The Atlantic, and Scientific American. She holds a BA in comparative literature from Hamilton College and an MA from NYU's Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program. She loves to cook, hike, and travel.
