Audrey Winn is an economic justice lawyer, litigating and writing in New York City. She is currently serving a Skadden Fellowship at the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, for which she leads the nation's first gig economy legal clinic, advocating for the rights of workers ranging from app-based domestic cleaners to fashion models covered by New York's exploitative "incidental booking exception" clause. Audrey's writing on labor and employment issues has appeared in The NYU Law Review, In These Times Magazine, and Jacobin, among other publications. She is passionate about algorithmic transparency, worker-led social responsibility initiatives like RESPECT, and data as a tool to grow worker power. Her current side project is a children's book about collective action.
