Brandon Alexander
Brandon Alexander is the CEO & co-founder of Iron Ox, the company automating the world’s food production. Inspired by his family farm and career in robotics, Brandon sought to find a sustainable solution to feeding the world’s growing population in an industry that’s challenged with a declining labor force and extreme weather conditions. With his co-founder Jon Binney, he travelled all across California to meet with local farmers to learn about the challenges facing the industry and how robotics can provide modern solutions. Their shared passion to take innovation out of lab and into the world led to the founding of Iron Ox. Brandon has a track record of laying the groundwork for successful robotic deployment. Prior to Iron Ox, Brandon played a key role in Google[x]'s drone delivery program, Project Wing, where he developed the flight mission control software. Before that he worked at the robotics think tank Willow Garage where he was a cloud robotics engineer, focused on designing a suite of tools for teleoperators to manage robots spanning multiple facilities and contributed core robotics code that’s still used today.
