Camille Francois is the research and analysis director at Graphika, where she leads a data science and analysis team focused on investigating social media manipulations. Prior to this, Francois worked as the principal researcher for Google's Jigsaw, an incubator dedicated to building technology to tackle tough global security challenges. Previously, Camille served as a special advisor to the chief technology officer of France within the prime minister's office, led research on cybersecurity and human rights for the Mozilla Foundation, and worked for Google’s market insights team on measuring the impact of digital advertising campaigns. As a scholar exploring the impact of technology on society, Camille has been affiliated for years with the Harvard Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society. A Fulbright fellow and Mozilla fellow, Camille holds a masters degree in human rights from the French Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences-Po) and a masters degree in international security from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Camille's work has been featured in the Washington Post, Globo, Le Monde, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the New York Times, amongst other international media.
