Carl Bildt is a Swedish politician and diplomat. He has served as prime minister of Sweden, and Sweden’s minister for foreign affairs, proving instrumental as a mediator in peace talks between Bosnia and Herzegovina and between Serbia and Kosovo. He was an early champion of the internet, and sent the first e-mail between two heads of state in 1994. Sine 2014, Bildt has served as chair of the global commission on internet governance.
