Caroline Mitgang began her hair career in 2008 after earning a B.A. in English and then trying to work in an office with extremely mixed results. She shifted gears to cultivate a lifelong tonsorial talent, but has always tried to integrate her background in the humanities at every opportunity (like with that use of "tonsorial"). She currently works at a salon in Manhattan.
