Colette van der VenColette van der Ven is an international trade lawyer working at the intersection trade, law and policy. As Director of Sidley Austin's Trade for Development Pro Bono Initiative, she provides legal advice to developing countries on trade-related matters. Colette is also the founder and director of TULIP, a Geneva-based consulting firm advising governments on technical issues at the intersection of trade and development policy. Previously, Colette worked as an associate at Sidley's international trade practice, representing governments in their WTO dispute. Colette holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She is a member of the New York Bar.
