David Goldblatt is a writer, broadcaster and academic. In 2006 in published "The Ball is Round: A Global History of Soccer." In 2015 he won the William Hill Sports book of the Year award for "The Game of Our Lives: The Making and Meaning of English Football." His most recent book is "The Games: A Global History of the Olympics."
