Dr. Ana Aparicio is associate professor of anthropology and Latino studies at Northwestern University. Her most recent research, funded by the National Science Foundation, explores the ways that Latino immigrants encounter and change suburbia’s political and social landscapes. She is a Public Voices fellow with The OpEd Project.
