Elettra Pauletto is a freelance writer and translator living in New York. She worked as a political risk analyst for over six years, and covered primarily east and central Africa. As an analyst, she has worked in Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she also worked in humanitarian aid in the fields of child protection and food distribution.
