Emil Skandul is the founder of the digital innovation firm, Capitol Foundry, based in New York City and Lisbon and with clients from Silicon Valley to Berlin. Over the past decade, he has been a frequent opinion contributor on technology policy, innovation economics, and the tech economy. His op-eds have appeared in Inc, Observer, Crain’s New York Business, the New York Daily News, and amNY. Emil previously worked in economic development for the New York City Council and helped found a nationally recognized nonprofit to advocate for the technology ecosystem in New York. Emil is a native of Queens, New York.
