Fei Yuan is a doctoral candidate studying education policy and program evaluation at Harvard University. Her research focuses on identifying effective interventions to improve student learning in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to her doctoral studies, Fei worked as a research analyst for the World Bank, designing and evaluating education policy across Africa. She was a core team member of the "World development report 2018: Learning to realize education’s promise." She holds an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
