Firmin DeBrabander is author of the book Do Guns Make us Free? (Yale University Press, 2015), and professor of Philosophy at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. He has written numerous columns on the gun rights movement, and other social and political issues, for a variety of publications including the New York Times, Baltimore Sun, Washington Post, the Atlantic, Salon and the New Republic.
