Hilke Schellmann
Hilke Schellmann (@hilkeschellmann) is an Emmy-award winning investigative reporter and assistant professor of journalism at NYU. Using innovative tools, she focuses her reporting on unearthing systemic wrongdoing and its impact on vulnerable people. She is currently obsessed with the changes automation and AI are bringing to the news business. Her work has appeared in several publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, VICE, HBO, PBS, TIME, WNYC, National Geographic, Glamour, and The Atlantic. She speaks German, and holds degrees from the Humboldt-University in Berlin and Columbia University in New York.
