Kevin Carrico is a lecturer in Chinese studies in the Department of International Studies, Modern Languages and Cultures at Australia's Macquarie University. He is the translator of Tsering Woeser’s "Tibet on Fire" (2016) and the author of "The Great Han: Race, Nationalism, and Tradition in China Today," published this month from University of California Press.
