Kristen Titus
Kristen Titus is the executive director of the Cognizant US Foundation, which invests in initiatives to prepare people for the future of work. She is the former chief technology and innovation officer of New York and the founding executive director of Girls Who Code and the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline. As New York's first CTIO, Kristen led the state's digital and tech policy portfolios, overseeing historic investments in technology education, workforce, and economic development. In New York City, Kristen launched the Mayor’s Tech Talent Pipeline, a $10 million initiative mobilizing 150 executives in support of first-of-its-kind policy and programming. Her work served as a model for President Obama’s TechHire and CSforAll initiatives, now replicated in 70-plus cities. Kristen has been named one of TIME Magazine's "30 People Under 30 Changing the World," one of Business Insider’s 2014 “Most Influential Young People in Tech,” one of Forbes’ “Women Changing the World,” and Elle Magazine’s "11 Women Who Might Just Change the World." She also was one of Business Insider’s “Silicon Alley 100” and was named an Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar in 2013.
