Maria Thomas is based in Bengaluru and writes about books, culture, history, and heritage for Quartz India. She holds a double masters degree in journalism and international affairs from Sciences Po in Paris and previously worked as a consumer reporter at Reuters in Bengaluru. While living in Paris, Maria developed a serious obsession with café culture, and went on to review coffee shops as an intern for Time Out. She's also written about the English language, books, and interior design for Buzzfeed, Vogue India, and Architectural Digest India.
