Marina Budhos is the author of numerous books of fiction and nonfiction and is a professor of English at William Paterson University. She has just published Watched, set in the Queens of today, about a Muslim teenager in an age of surveillance. Her essays and articles have been published in The Daily Beast, The Awl, The Nation, Marie Claire, LitHub, and elsewhere. Her new book, co-authored with her husband, Marc Aronson, Eyes of the World: Robert Capa, Gerda Taro & the Invention of Modern Photojournalism, will be published next year.
