Mark Johnson is the co-founder and CEO of Descartes Labs, a company that applies machine learning to satellite imagery. The company also uses machine learning to build a digital twin model of the planet. Previously Mark served as CEO of Zite, where he helped the news company pivot to a personalized iPad magazine. Five months later, Mark sold Zite to CNN and eventually sold Zite out of CNN to Flipboard.
