Dr. Martin Turner is an associate professor of psychology at Staffordshire University. He is a chartered sport and exercise psychologist and sport scientist, and is chair of the British Psychological Society (BPS) West Midlands branch. Martin leads the Sport, Exercise, and Performance Research Group at Staffordshire University. His expertise is within the psychology of performance under pressure and adversity. Primarily, his research focusses on the examination and use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in performance settings such as business, academia, and sport.
