Molly O’Toole is a freelance journalist and contributor at Foreign Policy, covering migration and security from Central America to South Asia and North Africa. As a senior reporter at FP, she covered immigration, refugees, and national security, and was FP’s sole 2016 presidential campaign reporter, the magazine's first. Molly has also reported on foreign policy and politics for Defense One, The Atlantic, The Huffington Post, Reuters, the Nation, The Associated Press, and Newsweek International, among others. She’s currently based in Nepal, but she will always be a Californian.
