Nicholas Burns is the Goodman Family Professor of Diplomacy and International Relations, founder and faculty chair of the Future of Diplomacy Project, and faculty chair of the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship at the Harvard Kennedy School. Ambassador Burns served in the United States government for 27 years, including as US ambassador to NATO from 2001 to 2005.
