Dr Oludayo Tade teaches Sociology of Deviant behaviour and Social problems at the Department of Sociology, University of Ibadan. He holds a PhD in Criminology. His research interests includes cybercriminality, Rape, Transactional Sex, Victims of Crime studies, Media and Crime reportage, Victims of Terrorism, child trafficking, Penology, and Electronic Frauds.He is a Media and Communication Consultant, Impact Evaluator, Community engagement consultant and social safeguard specialist. He is an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). He holds a certificate in policy research communications and Certificate in Solutions and Data Journalism. Dr Tade was a recipient of the University of Ibadan Postgraduate School Scholar Award in 2008-2010. Dr Tade won the maiden 2020 West Africa Science Communication Award of the The Conversation Africa. A fellow of the Institute for Money, Technology and Financial Inclusion (IMTFI), University of California, Irvine, United States of America, Dr Tade provides insights into issues in Nigeria through media writings. He is presently exploring Diaspora and Transnational studies.
