In 1996 Jack took Decisionmark from startup to profitability by creating the technology (Geneva) which even today is used by DirecTV, Echostar, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and every local TV affiliate to manage subscriber authentication for network programming over DBS. He later created TitanTV.com, AntennaWeb.org and MediaStar. Jack sold Decisionmark and founded Syncbak in March of 2009. Jack got started in his basement in 1990 when he created RunningCounts, a profitable fitness tracking software package that he ultimately licensed to direct-to-consumer cataloger Prisma Software. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and he currently holds 24 patents related to retransmission of broadcast TV over-the-Internet and DBS.
