Soraya Chemaly is a feminist writer, media critic, and activist whose work focuses on women’s rights and the role of gender in politics, religion and popular culture. Her work appears regularly in Salon, TIME, Huffington Post, The Guardian, and Role Reboot. She is also Director of the Women's Media Center Speech Project.
