I am continuing my studies in physics at SUNY Empire in New York City in order to move on to graduate studies in space biophysics—as well as advocating for more accessible and inclusive education, and challenging stereotypes through my own life in the form of public speaking and storytelling. I also provide small grants for underrepresented students and victims of abuse to make ends meet. I’ve done a few podcasts, STEM related interviews, article collaborations, and features from science to science fiction. As of recently I’ve been conducting radio, newspaper, and digital media interviews with my motherland Dominican Republic, as the only known Dominican to attempt to train as an astronaut candidate. The rest of my time is spent at home with my son, watching documentaries, or outside chasing the cosmos and moon gazing.
