I am a DPhil Archaeological Science Student based at the University of Oxford. My undergraduate and honours degrees are from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. My research primarily focuses on questions relating to time. Finding the when, so we can speculate the how. In the past, I worked on luminescence dating of late farming sites in South Africa, though my current questions relate to much deeper in time - the Middle Stone Age (300 000 - 30 000 years ago).
