Dr. Sarah Myers is a historian of 20th century U.S. history with research interests in U.S. women’s and gender history, public history, oral history, military history, and war and society. She recently published a book chapter on the Women Airforce Service Pilots in "Lessons of War," a peer-reviewed edited collection in Palgrave Macmillan's Gender and Histories series and has an article on World War II historiography forthcoming in The Routledge Handbook of Gender War, and the U.S. Military. She attended a 2016 National Endowment of the Humanities Summer Institute on Veterans Studies and the 2015 West Point Summer Seminar in Military History.In addition to teaching, she is also the Director of The Keirn Family World War II Museum at Saint Francis University.
