Previously, he was executive editor of CNN Tech, a features writer at Bloomberg Businessweek, and personal-tech editor at The New York Times. Other tours of duty included The Wall Street Journal, Esquire, and New York Magazine. When not editing and thinking up new stuff at Quartz, Sam likes to take on cooking projects well beyond his levels of talent and experience.
