Shelley is currently the head of Microsoft’s Technology and Corporate Responsibility team, working to advance Microsoft’s mission by making the opportunities of the rapidly evolving digital economy accessible to everyone. She gets to work on Microsoft’s investments in the areas of affordable and ubiquitous broadband connectivity, technology aimed at helping people with disabilities, environmental sustainability, and human rights. She has had the good fortune of being able to work on products and in places that inspire her—having spent a good part of her career working on games (Xbox) and in interesting places (Germany and The Netherlands). When not at work, in addition to raising a very spirited teenage girl, she is an avid snowboarder in the winter and a music-festival enthusiast in the summer.
