Susan Krauss Whitbourne, Ph.D., is a professor in Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is the author of over 160 peer-reviewed publications and 17 books, president-elect of the Eastern Psychological Association and chair of the Behavioral and Social Sciences Section of the Gerontological Society of America.
