Valerie Aurora is a diversity and inclusion in technology consultant. She was co-founder of The Ada Initiative, a non-profit supporting women in open tech/culture, where she was lead author and advocate for the code of conduct in use by thousands of tech conferences. She has taught ally skills to more than 1500 people and worked as a software engineer for more than 10 years.
