Join Quartz’s deputy global news editor Rashmee Roshan Lall and deputy news editor Hasit Shah at 11am ET for a discussion about the upcoming UK general election. Click here to join the call.

Nearly three-and-a-half years after the UK voted for Brexit in a 2016 referendum, it has still not happened. Lacking the support to push through his Brexit plan, UK prime minister Boris Johnson opted for an early general election, gambling that he will be able to shore up his support by boosting the number of Conservative members of parliament. It will be the UK’s third election since 2015.

Among the questions Rashmee and Hasit will address are:

  • The different possible outcomes of next month’s election
  • What it will mean for Brexit
  • The broader ramifications for Europe and the rest of the world

We’ll be taking questions and comments live on the video conference call at this time. You can also send questions in advance to members@qz.com.
