More than a billion people will be watching one of the greatest sporting rivalries of all time when India takes on Pakistan on Feb. 15 in the cricket World Cup.

The rivalry between the two neighbours is fierce—matches between them are often intense with players from both the sides confronting each other and exchanging harsh words.

India has won all the previous five World Cup matches, veteran although Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi hopes to break the 23-year-old jinx this time.

Quartz brings you five videos from their previous face-offs.

World Cup 1992: Javed Miandad and Kiran More

An over-enthusiastic Kiran More annoyed Pakistan’s Miandad who mocked the Indian wicket-keeper’s excessive appealing by jumping up and down.

World Cup 1996: Aamir Sohail and Venkatesh Prasad

After hitting Prasad for four runs, Pakistan batsman Sohail tried to provoke the Indian bowler by pointing his bat in the direction of the boundary. He didn’t know Prasad had a fitting reply in store.

India-Pakistan one-day series 2007: Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi

Back then, Gambhir was just five-years-old in the game whereas Afridi was already among the senior players in the Pakistan team. The two players had heated arguments and many expletives in Hindi were exchanged.

Asia Cup 2010: Gautam Gambhir and Kamran Akmal

It was Gambhir again. This time, he got into an altercation with Pakistan’s wicketkeeper Akmal during the Asia Cup match. Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the umpires eventually had to intervene to resolve matters.

Asia Cup 2010: Shoaib Akhtar and Harbhajan Singh

The two players lost their cool during the final stages of their encounter in the Asia Cup, exchanging some angry words in Punjabi language.
