Electric vehicles are still gaining momentum here in the U.S. market, tipped to crest ten percent of new car sales in 2024, but there is still a bit of hesitation from many Americans when it comes to charging and infrastructure. In order to bridge that gap, we need more on-street level two overnight chargers, like this simple and easy retractable unit mounted on a power pole. Right now EVs really only make sense if you live or work somewhere that you can reliably charge every day, meaning many people who rent their living accommodations are automatically precluded.
